Alien Morphology is part of the design research of the project: Embassy of Aliens. The Embassy of Aliens is a diplomacy initiative to develop and promote intragalactic tools through which to develop a reimagining of aliens. For centuries, humans have been imagining what aliens might be like, however without scientific findings, what pop culture ascribes to extraterrestrial aliens is largely based on projecting humans’ own unrealized hopes and fears. By covering the image of aliens with the green screen, Alien Morphology hopes to not only challenge people’s stereotypes of aliens but also encourage people to re-approach their imagination of aliens.
